What is the Hair Growth program?

The Hair Growth program is a physician-guided program for men and women dealing with thinning hair, a receding hairline, a widening part or more shedding than usual, who want to understand why and what can be done.

It focuses on finding the cause first, because hair loss has many, then builds a plan with follow-ups that track your progress over the months.

What are the potential benefits?

The cause identified
Your physician looks at genetics, hormones, stress, nutrition, recent illness and medicines to find what is behind your hair changes.
Hidden factors checked
Laboratory tests, when requested, can show issues such as low iron or thyroid changes that affect hair.
Options explained plainly
What can be done, and what is realistic, before you commit to anything.
Progress tracked properly
Photos at follow-ups compare your hair over time, which is hard to judge from day to day.
Care for your scalp
Practical guidance on scalp care, styling habits and nutrition that support healthy hair.

How does it work?

Each hair grows in a cycle: a long growing phase, a short transition, then a resting phase before it sheds and a new hair starts. Hair loss happens when that cycle is disturbed, when follicles shrink over time, or when many hairs enter the resting phase at once after stress, illness or a change in diet.

The program works on what disturbs the cycle:

It reads the pattern
Gradual thinning at the crown or hairline often points to genetics and hormones, while sudden shedding all over often follows stress or illness. The pattern guides the plan.
It checks your nutrition
Hair is built from protein and needs iron, zinc and vitamins. Shortfalls can show up as shedding.
It looks at hormones and thyroid
Hormone changes, such as after pregnancy, around menopause or with thyroid problems, are common causes.
It considers stress
A stressful event can push many hairs into shedding a few months later, so the past months are part of your history.
It looks after your scalp
A healthy scalp and gentle styling reduce breakage and look after the hair you have.

Because hair grows slowly, any change takes months to see, which is why follow-ups and photos matter.

What should I expect during the program?

At the start
An explanation of what may be causing your hair changes, tests if requested, and a plan with your options explained.
As you go
Follow-ups that compare photos over the months, since hair changes slowly.
Throughout
Patience and consistency: hair responds over months, not weeks. Results vary from person to person.

Who it may suit

This program may suit you if:

  • You have noticed thinning or shedding and want it assessed.
  • You want to understand possible causes before acting.
  • You want a physician to explain your options plainly.

Your physician will tell you if the program is not suitable for you, or if in-person care would serve you better.

What’s included

Your physician
A PRC-licensed physician reviews your history and goals, and decides what is clinically appropriate for you.
