Accessibility statement

We build this site to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That is what we work toward. It is not a certificate, and we do not claim the site meets every point of it.

• Every page is built to be used with a keyboard alone, and shows where on the page you are.
• Text is set against its background with enough contrast to be read.
• Links and buttons are large enough to tap without care.
• Pages keep one main heading and their headings in order, so they can be moved through by heading.
• Photographs that carry meaning are described in words; ones that are only for mood are left out for screen readers.
• Forms name each field, say in words what needs correcting, and take you to it.
• Movement stops when your device asks for less motion, and the background film on the homepage can be paused.
• Pages fit screens from narrow phones to wide monitors.

• The site has not been checked by an independent accessibility specialist.
• It has not yet been tested with screen readers, or by people who use assistive technology day to day.
• Some pages have been checked more closely than others. The programs, the request form and the parts every page shares have had the closest look.
• Services we link to but do not run, such as social media, have their own accessibility, which we cannot change.
